"Month by month Moritz grew, and gradually my tender little lap-dog became a colossal, big beast.
Once I even took him with me. He was my first observer. He behaved very sensibly. He seemed much interested in everything and looked at the world from above. Only my mechanics were dissatisfied when they had to clean the machine. Afterwards Moritz was very merry." - Manfred Von Richthofen, The Red Fighter Pilot
Trying to express my respect and admiration to the Red Baron in my own way. That guy sure changed history. I'm not sure which airplane the baron used to fly with his dog, nor if it was a red one. As far as I know, he only painted single-seaters...but who knows. This is an Albatros C.III, Manfred Von Richthtofen used to be an observer in them. I don't know if he piloted one them either, but it's very likely. XD
I thought so as well until my history teacher told us about him. I started researching about aeroplanes for the gryphon comics and I stumbled into his story. From what I've read he was a really nice and optimistic guy.
